Description:

This is an excellent example of original Salinas work on paper, that is recent. The work is both stunning and profound. This work is watercolor, gouache, pastel, charcoal and graphite on archival paper.
Baruj Salinas is the most significant, and well established contemporary artist this gallery represents. He has work in the permanent collections of over 35 museums, and has had over 100 solo shows worldwide, and a number of museum shows.
This Cuban Master lived in Barcelona in the 1970's, and studied with Joan Miro, AntoniTapies. Salinas is now 82 years old.
Salina's paintings can be seen in important collections all over the world such as the Joan Miro Foundation, Barcelona; the National Museum of Catalonia, Barcelona; the National Institute of Fine Arts, Mexico D.F; The Museum of Modern Art, Mexico City, the Beit Uri Museum, Israel; the Fine Arts Museum, Budapest; the Fort Lauderdale Museum of the Arts, Florida; the Art Institute of Chicago, Illinois; the San Antonio Museum of Art, Texas; and the Phoenix Museum of Art, Arizona, as well as dozens of others.
This is outstanding, and difficult to find work, and is investment grade original art. MLA Gallery offers his work at $500 to $1,000 less than his galleries in Miami, New York and Geneva. And we not only provide a guarantee of authentication in writing, but also offer a life time trade in policy. Pleaseinquire.
